When I decided to go more or less home based internet for some of the same potential, there weren't many outfits prepared to go head to head with that same demand online as - Michelle & Donna Summers. I was with VoiceCasting when it morphed into VOPlanet. But, times and running a VO website have changed. To be voiceover/client friendly with all the essentials to get the major work has today’s expenses. The Summers team decided with VOPlanet to be completely Full-Service. And charge a very reasonable fee for talent listing. They resourced VOPlanet with one of the best interactive web talents: Robert Simmons, a web developer & database Manger. It’s a night & day difference. I feel I’m getting a lot for my money: auditions that are the pick of the litter, great site navigation, personalized email notices for auditions, script downloads with clear descriptions of the parts, a ton of space for listing all my demos and absolutely the most optional audition delivery system around. In my case I paid for my year subscription with a booking within 3 months of starting with VOPlanet. As Alfred Hitchcock would say: I hope they have a faulty stocking…A long run!"
