Experience
I have been a full-time voice actor for about a year, but started working in the industry quite a bit earlier. About
I'm a professional, US-born voice actor who works in a wide range of genres. I am based in US Central Time, and can in most cases turn around finished audio in 24 hours or less after booking a project. I work out of my home recording booth, which has been checked and approved by two different sound engineers.
My signal chain consists of a Rode NTG-2 shotgun mic and a Shure PGA27 XLR cardioid mic (I use the Rode by default, but will go with the Shure upon request if desired), a Behringer UMC204HD audio interface (and a Focusrite Scarlet Solo 3rd edition interface for travel), and two DAWs: RX10 Standard and Audacity.
Although I am a full-time, professional voice actor, my background was originally in academia. I am a trained archaeologist with a PhD in Anthropology from UC-San Diego (and I draw on that academic experience all the time in my voiceover career).
