I've been a professional voice for over 30 years and it runs the gamut from on-air work, commercials, intense promos and some station imaging (classic rock, CHR and AC). Just for fun, I host a retro top 40 show once a week on a 100,000 watt shortwave station with global coverage.
To be clear, I do have a baritone voice (a friend who knows him compares me to Charlie Van Dyke). You will find that my style is versatile and without announcer-itis.
I do not currently have Source Connect or Skype but can do Teams, Zoom or Google Meets. A highly successful friend tells me Clean Feed works quite well compared to Source Connect and is free.

My career started in radio. Then I went into public safety for 20 years. I remodeled my ham radio and installed a small studio arrangement. I found a small Behringer mixer on ebay (much more than I need but it has a USB interface). I'm using a Sennheiser MKH 416. Audition will not run on my new laptop so rather than pay for a subscription, I'm using Audacity.
Having been recently and suddenly widowed, I'm adjusting to the single life after 44 years, being a homemaker as well as getting my business off the ground. I do have the menagerie, dog, cat and cockatiel, to keep me company.
I consider the job complete when the client is completely satisfied.
