I'm a 29yr old local to Raleigh, NC, but originally hail from South Jersey. Since my parents are from Brooklyn but have never carried the typically strong NY accent, my siblings and I grew up speaking a standard North American dialect that lends itself well to learning other languages, as well as mimicking the sounds of other accents, wehter inside or outside the US.
