Experience
As a Voice Actor I work out of a broadcast quality home studio, bringing to my working partners a quality read that generally exceeds their expectations. My on-stage experience as a ventriloquist has given me the ability to get into character quickly and seamlessly.
I’m at home behind a mic whether I’m in my studio or on location. Although laid back and easy going, I put an undercurrent of energy behind a soulful documentary, can be over the top in an ‘in your face’ commercial, am competent and knowledgeable during an
e-learning module, and bring characters to life in an animation.

About
I was born surrounded by doctors ready to replace all my blood who presumed I’d be mentally challenged to a certain degree, and who also believed I would likely never to walk. Well, I kept all my blood, the verdict is still out on the whole mentally challenged thing, and I grew up running everywhere.
Ever hear of Elhers Danlos Syndrome – not fun. Imagine your Dad is the little league baseball coach, but you can’t play because if you threw a ball in from the outfield, you would throw your arm right out of the socket. Been there, done that. I hated feeling like a wuss so l ran, worked out, threw away notes from home excusing me from gym class, danced, got into fights, and into tennis, volleyball, and yoga.
The result was that out of high school I joined the Army. From there it was off to college majoring in Business Management with a Public Speaking minor. I traveled with a college karate team, played competitive volleyball, and taught myself ventriloquism traveling with a number of teams from Florida to Pennsylvania as well as out of the country later on. I also started, ran, and sold my first cleaning company. From college I was recruited as the Assistant Director of Environmental Services for a large hospital system. When caught up in a major downsizing, I started and ran another cleaning company for about 30 years. During that time a chance ad introduced me to voice over. It didn’t take long before I was hooked leading to training with the Global Voice Acting Academy and building a broadcast quality recording studio in my home. While honing my skills as a voice actor, I took over the facilities management department of a private school until going part time to devote full time to my voice over endeavors. That journey has led to Script To Life Voiceovers, LLC.
PS: As a young adult while home visiting, I was invited to play ball on my Dad’s church team. He pitched and I played first base. Together we executed a beautiful double play.
