From an early age, being on stage and performing were at the forefront of Abbie’s personality. Making up dances and putting on concerts and fashion shows in the basement morphed into local plays and musicals starting at the age of seven. These performances sparked a love of acting, and Abbie started taking home awards in middle school for acting and speech contests.
By high school, she was taking voice lessons and in every musical and play she could find. She landed leads in both Grease and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Additionally, her comedic timing and character acting earned her a local award for Best Comedic Actress.
Though her time on stage was paused during college, she continued “performing” as a middle school teacher for over a decade. Teaching kids how to analyze and develop characters while diving into the plot of a story is a passion that Abbie has brought not only to her own three children, but to her current profession as a voiceover artist, as well.
